Good buddy of mine talked me into submitting some art to this site because of the ability to have it printed and get a little exposure.

I'm impressed with the quality of the site as well as the submissions of other artists...

A little background on myself if your curious:
I've just started my 3rd season for Josten's as a Cover Artist/Illustrator. I spent my previous 2 seasons in Production Art (photo-touchups and manipulations). I fixed a dozen or so school photos a day (scratches, blemishes, etc.) so it was only a matter of time before I tried drawing a person from scratch. I enjoy a wide variety of art - but am currently on a celebrity portrait buzz.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

Fella Point Right spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
Ninja Point Right I know. That's why it's going to work.

Do not try and bend the spoon ...

:) (Smile) yup, my trusty Disney Sketch Pad. It's a graphics tablet for kids which I got when I was in grade 7....5 years ago :o (Eek) It's gettin' quite worn out. It is pressure sensative, but the pen hooks up to the pad with a wire (I'm used to it now :) (Smile) ) ...but the active area is 6 1/2 by 9 inches. So it does the trick for me :D (Big Grin) Although I wouldn't mind getting a wacom =P (Razz)

Anyway, thanks for the comment!
Good to see you back around!

Later.

Thank you for the kind comments gang and the welcome...

I'm not aware of a plugin for doing 'painting' stuff - but having such a tool would totally take the fun out of it anyway and it would be nothing more than a doctored photo...

Jostens has a pretty wide range of services now... Hope their able to please you with the photos... Joining your yearbook staff is a great way to contribute toward a exciting way to remember your high school years... It's also great training if you plan to go into the graphics/printing industry later in life...

thanx again for the great comments,
:) (Smile)
